Theophilus Danjuma was born on the 9th of December 1938 in Takum, Taraba State Nigeria. He attended St Bartholomew’s Primary School before progressing to Benue Provincial secondary School.
In 1960, Danjuma joined the Nigerian army and rose to become the Chief of army staff in 1975.
