Southwest to roll out security plan next month Oyo state governor seyi makinde
This was revealed yesterday the 28th of July 2019 at a thanksgiving service of his mother, Mrs Abigail Makinde.
He said;
I and other governors of the Southwest have met on how to launch a new security architecture before the end of August 2019.

Southwest to roll out security plan next month
The first 100 days of this government will be on the 5th of September and before then, we will launch a new security architecture in Oyo state.
This is coming two days after the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi warns of war.
In an Open letter sent to President Buhari, Oluwo said;
The recent security threat emanating from incessant kidnapping by bad elements or alleged Fulani herdsmen, most especially in the south western Nigeria is not without general knowledge.
Many brainstorming sessions have been conducted by stakeholders. Just three days ago, I was with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at Osun State Government House, Osogbo, Osun State, addressing the same burning issue.
He further said I’ve seen many survivors of war including Professors, Doctors, Ministers, and even kings lining up with plates begging for food.
