His complete name is Richard Eyimofe Evans Mofe-Damijo. He was born on 6th July 1961 and is one of the most outstanding actors in Nollywood. RMD is also a writer and producer.
Additionally, he is a trained lawyer.
He equally once served as the Delta State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism.
In addition, RMD is an award-winning actor and has so many such awards to his credit. He has made an excellent name for himself in the acting industry, and his reputation is simply impressive.

RMD was born on 6th July 1961 and raised in the Aladja community, the Udu Kingdom close to Warri, Delta State. He had his secondary education at Midwest College in Warri and also attended Anglican Grammar School.
While he was in secondary school, he was a member of the Drama Club of the school.
Upon completing his secondary education, he got admitted into the University of Benin to study Theatre Arts.
After graduating with his first degree, RMD went back to the university to study Law; this time around, he was admitted to the University of Lagos for his law degree studies, and he graduated in 2004.

After leaving the university, RMD participated in Ripples, a TV soap opera that aired in the late ’80s.
He worked with Concord Newspaper as a reporter for a short spell before this time. He equally worked as a reporter with Metro Magazine.
The first film for which he was credited as the writer and producer was Out of Bounds.
After that, he started winning awards from the 2005 edition of the African Movie Academy Awards, at which event he won the award for the Best Actor in a Leading Role.
He has never stopped since then.
