My parents passed away when I was a year old and am the only child, nothing I get hit maker Fameye revealed in an exclusive interview with Black I on Adom FM.
Fameye, born Peter Kwesi Fameye made this sad revelations when he passed through the studios of Adom FM during “Work and Happiness” show on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019.
He told host ‘Black I’ that he was nurtured by his grandmother and life wasn’t too easy for him growing up.
The death of his parents, he said, motivated him enough to compose songs because he knew “they were watching.”
“I have never seen my parents. I was one-year-old when they passed away so my grandmother brought me up. My parents inspire me a lot. I loved King Ayisoba’s style, I followed him too and he motivated me. I am not married but I would when the time is right,” he said in Twi.
After shooting into fame after sharing the acoustic version of his hit song “Nothing I Get” prior to the mastering and Offocial released of the inspirational songs on social media, Fameye said he could achieve his current height at his moments.
“I never thought I would blow. I only wanted my fans to know I am around with the video I posted on social media. I wanted to be relevant. I wanted to push myself to the top but I never knew it would project me like this,” he said.
