His real name is Bolaji Amusan, and he was born on the 15th of October, 1966. Amusan is a veteran actor and filmmaker, producer, and director. He remains one of the most famous individuals in Nollywood today.

Mr. Latin Biography – How he started
Mr. Latin was born at Gbongan in Ayedaade Local Government in Osun State, Nigeria. He got married in 1999 to Ronke Amusan, and the couple has two kids.
His acting career did not start until 1988, when he became 21 years old. He joined the ANTP a year later, in 1989.
The first significant movie he ever featured in was 50-50, and Akin Ogungbe produced the film in 1992. Since he ventured into the acting world, he had been able to produce more than 40 movies.
However, most of the films he made are comedy movies.
Mr. Latin currently resides in Abeokuta, Ogun State, but his family stays in Dubai, UAE. So, he shuttles between Nigeria and Dubai to check on his family. The first movie he produced was titled Ebun Igbeyawo in 1996.

Mr. Latin is a member of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Producers Association of Nigeria.
He is not just a registered member but the current director of the organization when writing this piece.
Mr. Latin was once the called and state member of the organization before he became the national director.
He equally established Mr. Latin TV and Mr. Latin Foundation, organizations where he is the CEO.

Mr. Latin Biography – Education
Mr. Latin only had a secondary education before he started acting. He had, however, gone back to school to further his education and is currently an undergraduate at the National Open University, where he is studying Peace and Conflict Resolution.
Though Mr. Latin had made a name for himself in the Nigerian movie industry, he still believes that he would have gone further if he had attended a higher institution.
He went back to school because he wants to add education qualifications to his profile for a better opportunity in the movie industry.

Despite his age, he believes he can still go places in the movie industry and beyond if he has a good education. Mr. Latin is looking forward to serving in government offices in the future if such an opportunity presents itself.
