She was born on June 20, 1963, in Boulogne-sur-mer, France.
There is no information about who his parents were, or siblings, if any. At the age of seven, his parents moved to the Parisian suburbs.
Michel discovered his passion for acting and writing at a tender age, which made him enroll in theatre lessons at Les Mureaux.
At the age of 15, his teacher introduced him to a theater, where he could work.
From 1981 to 1984, Michel worked in public relations and the arrangement of props in the National Dramatic Center, Montpellier.
Then, in 1984, he returned to Paris, trained in audiovisual and communication, and moved into cinema.

Career
After training in audiovisual and communication, Michel Couvelard produced a documentary on painting and soon became an assistant director and production assistant.
He made “La captive du Désert, Bar des rails” and directed the 1995 film “Une femme dans l’enni,” which featured French actress Catherine Frot alongside Swiss actor Roland Amstutz.
Michel also directed the video for “O carnival”l by Arthur H.
“Inséparable” was his first feature film. After its release in 1999, Michel has not shot any film.
However, in 2008, he released a play titled “Une vie de château,” co-written with Jean-Louis Bauer and published by Fayard.
The play is about the daily life of a hyperactive head of state and his entourage.

Michel Couvelard was married to French actress Catherine Frot, who was seven years older than him in 1987.
