I saw hell in Ghana – Sacked Nigerian Professor
Nigerian professor sacked recently by the University of Education Winneba (UEW) said the maltreatment he went through in Ghana is equivalent to hell.
Professor Augustine Nwagbara was arrested by the Ghana Police service after a tape of him talking about how poor Ghanaian Educational sector is, and how Nigerians are being maltreated in Ghana went viral.
This put Ghana’s Human Rights into question as this could be part of a large-scale pattern of abuse and gross human rights violations cover-up by the government.

The violation of freedom of expression by the Ghanaian Police service almost escalated a diplomatic row with the Giant of Africa.
Nigerian high Commission ordered for his immediate release and safe passage back to Nigeria.

Talking about the horrific incident for the first time, during a meeting with Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa, CEO Nigerians in Diaspora commission (NIDCOM) in Abuja.
Professor Augustine Nwagbara said the timely intervention of the Nigerian High Commissioner in Ghana, Ambassador Olufemi Abikoye saved him as he could have been killed.
I probably would have been a dead man,” he said.
