He returned to the “American Horror Story” for the release of its ninth season in the year 1984, as Xavier Plympton.

Who is Cody Fern ?
He was born on the 6th of July, 1988 in Southern Cross in rural Western Australia, a small town.
He went through high school education at Merredin Senior High School, a boarding school and graduated from Curtin University of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in commerce in 2009.
Fern was initially inclined to have a career in Finance before he started his acting journey.
He always wanted to be an actor and a model since childhood but could not actualize his passion because he did not think he could leave his hometown.
According to an interview with Anthem Magazine, He said, “This is not what I want my life to be.
But I am here, and I am doing it, and I am trying to fit in”. At the age of 22, Fern chose to leave his finance path to pursue a career in acting.
Just after quitting his job, he joined a local theatre group. He confirmed that it was the movie dilogy, “Elizabeth and Elizabeth, The Golden Age”, that sparked the flame of acting in him.
Cody Fern has trained under the tutelage of well-known acting instructors including Ellen Burstyn, Larry Moss and Susan Batson. He began his acting career with the film “Hole in the ground” in 2008, where he played the role of Zach.
He played the lead role of Albert in the National Theatre of Great Britain’s production, “War Horse” which was a huge success and received significant recognition.
In 2011, Fern played the role of Romeo in Shakespeare WA’s production of Romeo and Juliet, Lindsay in the Black Swan Theater Company’s, “Jandamarra” and also the Earl of Southampton in the world premiere production of “The Enchanters”, at the State Theatre of West Australia.
He also made appearances in many short films and also directed a few short films. In 2014, Fern received the annual Hearth Ledger Scholarship directed towards supporting actors of Australian descent, financially and professionally.
This Scholarship has benefits including, cash fund, a two-year scholarship at the Los Angeles’ Stellar Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre and mentorship from the father of the late actor, Heath Ledger. Cody used the funds from the Scholarship to relocate to Los Angeles, California, in hopes of a brighter acting future.
In 2018, his television debut in the FX crime series, “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story”, where he played the role of David Madson, earned him the Gold Derby TV Award for Movie/ Limited Series Supporting Actor and also a nomination for the Breakthrough Performer of the Year.
He has also featured as a model, appearing on the covers of magazines such as Confidential Magazine and British GQ.
He has also collaborated with popular fashion brands and designers and also participates in different fashion shows.
Cody Fern is very private concerning personal issues and prefers to keep them away from public attention; hence not much is known about his siblings and parents.
His brown hair, grey eyes and masculine physique has won him the hearts of many. He is openly gay, and he is dating Eric Smith and the romance dated back to 2017 when they first appeared on an Instagram video together.
