He was born on the 2nd of July 1991, and his name is Damini Ebunoluawa Ogulu. He has won a Grammy Award, a very rare achievement among Nigerian music artists. He is a singer and a songwriter. Burna Boy is equally a dancer and a rapper.
As of today, he is among the most significant music artists from Africa; he is similarly one of the most successful African artists today.

He was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, on the 2nd of July 1991. His father owns a welding company, while his mother was working as a translator.

Fela Kuti, the African music legend, once employed Burna Boy’s grandfather as a manager; the grandfather’s name is Benson Idonije.
The post was later taken up by Burna Boy’s mother, Bose Ogulu. Burna Boy started his music career by making his beats with FruityLoops.
He had his secondary education at Corona Secondary School, Agbara, Ogun State. Upon completion of his secondary education, he relocated to London for further studies.
As a result, Burna Boy got admitted to the University of Sussex to study Media Technology.

The first album released by Burna Boy was titled L.I.F.E. on the 12th of August 2013. Leriq produced the album, and 2face Idibia featured in it, alongside Wizkid, Reminisce, Olamide, M.I, and even Timaya.
The album was equally ranked by the Nigerian Entertainment Today as the 10th of the 12th Best Albums of 2013.
A considerable amount of content drew inspiration from Bob Marley, King Sunny Ade, and Fela Kuti.

The reviews were also positive across the board. The album got a nomination for the Best Album of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
This album was made available a couple of years after releasing Burn Identity, his second mixtape.
The album sold more than 40,000 copies on the same day it was released. After removing the album, Burna Boy released five singles in quick succession, namely:
