He averaged 20 points and seven rebounds per game and was a two-time all-state selection as a senior.
As a result of his performance, Alex received scholarship offers from DePaul, Ohio, and Green Bay.

Professional Career
On June 22 June 22, 2020, Alex signed a three-year contract with UCAM Murcia of the Liga ACB.
He had his first game for the club’s reserve team on October 18, 2020, in Liga EBA, where he recorded 28 points and six rebounds and an 83–69 win over SCD Carolinas.
In 2021, Alex joined the Sacramento Kings for the 2021 NBA Summer League, and the team eventually won the 2021 Summer League.
