Cody used the funds from the Scholarship to relocate to Los Angeles, California, in hopes of a brighter acting future.
In 2018, his television debut in the FX crime series, “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story”, where he played the role of David Madson, earned him the Gold Derby TV Award for Movie/ Limited Series Supporting Actor and also a nomination for the Breakthrough Performer of the Year.
