Dammy krane charged in court, granted N50k bail
Nigerian singer Dammy krane was arraigned before Igbosere Magistrate court today by the police.
He is facing three count of threat to life, defamation, and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.
Dammy Krane’s lawyer Adebayo Oniyelu urged the court to grant the singer bail as he is a public figure.
Presiding over the case, Mrs Folashade Botoku granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety
It was reported that the singer threatened the lives of staff of Merrybet Gold limited after loosing a bet on the 25th of July 2019.
The singer whose real name is oyindamola johnson is said to have released a song accusing the company of breach of contract.

That you, Johnson Hunga Oyindamola and others at large on the 29th day of July, 2019 at Cool FM in the Lagos magisterial district did conspire amongst yourselves to commit felony to wit: conduct likely to cause breach of peace and threat to life and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 412 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.
That you, Johnson Hunga Oyindamola and others at large on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned magisterial district did threaten the life of the staff of Merrybet Gold Limited and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 301 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”
