The Creation Of Google
On September 4, 1998, Google LLC was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who were then PhD students of Standard University, California.
The company began as a research project for Larry and Sergey; there was, however, a third unofficial founder “Scott Hassan”, who wrote the original code for Google Search engine and served as the lead programmer.

However, Hassan left before Google was officially made a company.
Larry and Sergey initially named the search engine “BackRub”, but over time decided to go for Google instead and registered the domain name “www.google.com” on September 15, 1997.
The company, which was later incorporated on September 4, 1998, had its base in the “garage” of Susan Wojcicki in Menlo Park, California.
Craig Silverstein, a fellow PhD student at Stanford, became the first employee of Google.
The company provided internet-related services and products, like a search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware.
Page and Sergey own about 14% of its publicly-listed shares and control 56% of the stockholder voting power.
On August 19, 2004, Google went public via an initial public offering (IPO).
The company shares were sold for $85 per share. In 2015 the company was reorganized as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alphabet Inc.
Google serves as a holding company to Alphabet’s Internet properties and interests and is recognized as Alphabet’s largest subsidiary.
Over time, Google services have incorporated a lot more, and It offers services designed for work, instant messaging, video chat, language translation, mapping, navigation and many more.
