Two internet fraudsters arrested in Ibadan, luxury cars recovered

The Economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC) today announced the arrest of two internet fraudsters in Ibadan, Oyo state.

The suspects were arrested after finding incriminating documents in their procession.

The suspects identified as Agbanah Tobah and Akeju Babatunde was arrested with stolen identities and addresses of their victims.

According to the EFCC, the suspects were alleged to have been using different online dating sites to lure their victims into romantic affairs by using fake identities in order to defraud them.

EFCC investigation revealed that large amount of money was deposited into the suspects accounts by their victims.

According to Agbanah he confessed in using one British identity in defrauding his victims.

He was representing himself as a 40 year-old Chris Dan, working with the United Nations.

According to the suspect, he uses the british man identity to lure his victims into a romantic relationship before asking for money for various reason from flight tickets to many others.

Two Toyota Venza, Toyota camry, IPad, Mobile phones, printers recovered from the suspects.
