Tope Alabi got this name consequent of one of her albums that come with this title. She is not just a singer, but also a film music composer and also an actress.
She was born in Lagos State on the 27th of October 1970. Her father’s name is Pa Joseph Akinyele Obayomi, and her mother’s name is Madam Agnes Kehinde Obayomi.
Her parents have three children, and she is the only girl among the three.
She is also happily married, and the marriage is blessed with two daughters, namely Ayomikun and Deborah. She is a native of Yewa, Imeko in Ogun State, Nigeria.

Tope Alabi attended Oba Akinyele Memorial High School, Ibadan, and passed out in 1986.

She then got admission into the Polytechnic Ibadan to study Mass Communication, and she graduated from the institution in 1990.
Tope Alabi was formerly an actress. She was a member of the Jesters International comedy group and played many roles in their films.
After leaving this group, she joined several other theatre groups, some of which were stage groups and some other ones were traveling groups.
Her acting career was based in Lagos and Ibadan. The movies she featured in were in the Yoruba language.
Some years later, Tope Alabi became a born-again Christian and stopped featuring in movies. She then became a full-time gospel singer.
