Tiwa Savage cancels her show in South Africa in protest of South Africans attack on immigrants 

Nigerian singer and influencer have announced her plans to cancel her upcoming show in South Africa due to the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians.

In a statement released on her official twitter account, the singer said she refused to watch the butchering of her people in South Africa.

She said she would not be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious festival scheduled to take place on the 21st of September 2019 in Johannesburg.

Three Nigerians were killed yesterday during an attack on foreigners in South Africa.

One of the people killed was burnt alive.

The attack on foreigners started on Sunday morning, where angry mobs stormed foreign businesses and Loot.

The attacks are believed to have been carried out by the Zulu hostel dwellers.

One of the Nigerian businesses affected was a Nigerian car dealer, whereby his businesses were set ablaze.

The attack spread across the second day before the security operatives got involved, dispersing the angry Mob.

Meanwhile, the leader of South African Economic Freedom Fighters, EFF, condemned the attack in a statement.

He said whether you are from South Africa or Zimbabwe, this is your home. He, therefore, calls for an end to self-hate. He said, Africa, we are one, Nigerians are our brothers.

It is coming three weeks after the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) came out in numbers to lock down South African companies in protest of the Xenophobic attack on Nigerians.

NANS shut down Stanbic Bank in Abeokuta, and Shoprite in Sango Ota, all in Ogun State.
