Tinubu, Osinbajo fell out over 2023 Presidency
The god Father of All Progressive Congress , Chief Bola Tinubu and the vice president of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo fell out over the 2023 presidency ambition of Osinbajo.
The trouble started between the two after it’s been speculated that Prof. Yemi Osinbajo might be wanting to succeed Buhari come 2023.
Tinubu and Osinbajo hasn’t been in good terms as the VP is said to have been keeping distance and hasn’t been consulting the godfather and leader of his party about numbers of issues.
Saturday sun reports that a top aide of the VP allegedly said Osinbajo can’t be seen as a local champion.
The top aide was also quoted as saying that he’s not aware of any probe against the VP or his aides.
Although 70 out of 80 people working for the VP at the villa was recently removed.
Tinubu allegedly instructed his aides and allies not to endorse the political ambition of the VP.
Just a few days ago, The Akure Police command arrest and detained the organiser of Osinbajo 2023 presidential campaign.
Bamise Akintomide was arrested and detained at the criminal and investigation bureau department at the police headquaters in Ondo State.
According to reports, Akintomide was arrested in connection of the political rally organised last week at the APC headquaters in Akure.
Equally, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce told Sunday Punch that the upper legislative chamber will probe the VP on N33billion IDP fund as soon as the house of representatives ad-hoc committee concludes their investigation
