Kelvyn Boy didn’t intentionally snub Wendy Shay during the peace press conference between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
In a viral video that has been viewed hundreds of times online, Ghanaian singer Kelvyn Boy was invited on stage to take a group picture. Immediately Wendy Shay was called on stage, Kelvyn Boy ignored Wendy.

Addressing the incident, Kelvyn said he never intended to snub Wendy. In an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, Kelvyn said he responded nicely to Wendy when she said “hi” to him.
He added that both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy had stretched their hand to shake him, and he was in a hurry to join them to take the photo. That’s why he missed hugging or greeting Wendy Shay.
I even walked out of the auditorium with Wendy Shay, he concluded.
During the Award night at the VGMA, Shatta Wale stormed the stage with his thugs when Stonebwoy was announced as the winner of the reggae dancehall artiste of the year category.
They were arrested and charged to court for offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace and display of a firearm in public without permission, after the incident at the VGMA.
