Tekno granted bail on health ground
A Nigerian musician Tekno has been granted administrative bail on health ground authorities said.
According to the police, the hip hop artiste cannot be detained due to his health The hip hop artist whose legal name is Augustine Kelechi was arrested in connection of a music video shoot that involves him spraying half naked girls with money as they danced in a transparent glass box truck around Lekki-Ikoyi bridge.
The police said the act is a breach of public decency.
He was taken to criminal investigation and intelligence department, Panti for questioning.
The Police said he was arrested with two other girls.
The command has arrested Tekno and the two girls for conveying half naked girls at the Lekki area of Lagos.
“He is presently undergoing questioning at the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti.
There was public outrage when half naked girls were spotted dancing in the middle of Lagos traffic few days ago.
Lagos State signage and Advertisement Agency suspended a media firm that owns a transparent truck in which they were spotted in and issued a statement to the general public.
The Agency said
We wish to state, without equivocation that no outdoor mobile advert truck within the jurisdiction of our dear state is licensed to display such crass immorality of the calibre that the owner of the unregistered truck exhibited on our roads over the weekend.
