His real name is Augustine Miles Kelechi, and he was born on the 17th of December 1990. He is a Nigerian songwriter and singer. He is also called Alhaji Tekkino, Slim Daddy, or Golden Boy of Africa.

He was born in Bauchi State, but he originated from the Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. He was born into a family of six, which is made up of five boys and one girl.
While he was born in Bauchi State, he spent some time in Many other Nigerian states, including Abuja, Kaduna, and Nassarawa.
It is because his father was a military man, and he was transferred around several times.
Music career
He started Music early on in life when he was eight years old. He enrolled in music school at this early age, where he learned the rudiments of Music.
Kelechi was exposed to the guitar and piano at the music school. Tekno’s younger brother is also into Music; he is known as Spotless and currently with Starboy Record Label.
He signed under K-Money Entertainment and released a single titled Holiday. The single featured Davido and the song gained much popularity.
Kelechi has made a name for himself, making friends with great stars like Ubi Franklyn and Ice Prince.
Tekno later moved down to Lagos following the advice of Iyanya and Ubi Franklyn to allow him to further his music career.
He later signed a record deal with Made Men Music Group in October 2013 and released singles, some of which are “Anything” and “Dance.” He was even nominated at the 2014 edition of Nigeria Entertainment Awards for the Best New Act of the Year.
Then he released another single in 2015 titles Duro and produces by DJ Coublon. The song became popular, too, and its popularity transcended the shores of Nigeria.
He later released a remix of the song featuring Phyno and Flavour in the November of 2015. The song was so hot that it claimed many music charts in Nigeria for weeks.
