Reports coming in shows Ghanaian reggae dancehall artiste Livingstone Etsey Setekla popularly known as Stonebwoy has parts way with Ghana’s Multi Purpose record label Zylofon Music, which is a subsidiary of Zylofon Media and Menz Gold.
As at May, 18th of this year, the BET award winning artiste’s contract has ended with non-functioning record label which gives Burniton Music Group full faculty over his business both locally and internationally except music distribution which will be handle by Universal Music.

Stonebwoy penned down a two years contract which was later reviewed to two years with the Defunct record label on June 15th 2017 and was unveiled at the companies headquarters in Accra Ghana.
During the unveiling of the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards artiste of the year, the embattled Chief Executive Officer Nana Appiah Mensah has this to say
“Stonebwoy is not just an artiste, he understands music and is not just an everyday artiste that is good at getting in front of the mic and singing,” he said.
According to Stonebwoy, he was uncomfortable with the posture of some elements at the record label who had shown dislike for his person and craft.
