Soldiers allegedly killed three people during Isheri day festival in Ogun.
Three people were reportedly killed while several others injured in a shooting during the Isheri Festival.
The incident happened on Monday night, in Isheri Olofin community in Ogun State, During the celebration of the yearly Isheri Day festival.
Channels TV reports that Ogun State Police command spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident.
He said Investigation into the circumstance that led to the killing has began.
This is coming a few weeks after Soldiers of the 93 battalion killed three policemen and one civilian in Taraba State.
The policemen were escorting a suspected kidnapper when the shooting occurred.
Vanguard reports that an injured police officer among the victims of the attack revealed how he survived the ordeal.
He said he watched the soldiers killed his colleagues in an execution style, even when they explained that they were policemen.
