Shiites Organisation in Nigeria has been declared a terrorist group by the federal court in Abuja on Friday.
The court restrained any person or group from participating in activities involving or concerning the Shiites.
Justice Nkeonye Maha designated the activities of the Shiites in any part of Nigeria as an act of terrorism and illegality.

The Federal Government has been doing everything to stop violent protests by the members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria.
The court ordered the Attorney general of the federation to publish an order proscribing the respondent (Shiites) in two national dailies and the official gazette.
