Sheryl Lynn Berkoff was born June 20, 1961, in Los Angeles, California, United States. She grew up in South California alongside her sister, Hillary Swank, and they were both raised by a single mom and their maternal grandmother.
She was enrolled in a local high school before attending the University of California, where she graduated with a degree in Fashion Design, which she ventured into after graduation.
Career
Sheryl, after graduation, got into the fashion industry, working as a makeup artist. Subsequently, she included jewelry making in her profession.
In 1985, she had her first job as a video makeup artist, working on “Treasure Box,” later followed by Little Muffy Johnson, Living Doll, and Breaking In.
In 1989, she landed the job of a makeup artist for the film “Renegades,” which was later followed by “Frankie and Johnny .”Some of Sheryl’s video makeup credit includes The Finest Hour, Ghost in the Machine, and The Vanishing in 1993.
