Pastor arrested for killing church member who went to the church after buying a new car for prayers
A Prophet has been arrested after one of his church members went missing and eventually found dead after visiting the church to show the Pastor his new car.
The suspect, Michael Mbonu, was arrested by the Imo state police particular anti-robbery squad unit (SARS) for his church member’s death identified as Princewill Ezeji.
The Pastor was arrested with four other suspects identified as Kingsley Udemba, Nwogu Anslem, Chidinma Godwin, Blessing Michael.
The SARS spokesperson Godfrey Victor said the command received a complaint of a missing person.
Upon investigation, Five people were arrested and taken into custody. The deceased, Princewill Eleji, had bought a Lexus Car and went to see the prophet for prayers.
According to reports, the deceased went missing on the 3rd of August 2019.

The family members of the deceased were defrauded by one suspect identified as Kinsley Udemba.
Udemba had claimed the deceased went missing for defrauding him.
The deceased’s parents had paid Udemba N960,000 for the return of their son, but he was not returned as agreed.
