Ooni of Ife unveils artefacts dating back 5,000 years

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi said it has found artefacts dating back to at least 5000 years ago in Iresi, Osun State.

Remains of ancestors from the Yoruba race was also discovered inside Iho Eleeru, at Isarun, Ondo State, dating back to 13,000 years.

Princess Ronke Ademiluyi told the NAN today that an Oduduwa mobile museum project will be launch in conjunction with the Brazilian government.

She said the mobile museum project is to promote traditional art forms of Africa.

Ademiluyi further said the mobile museum will be moved around the countries involved in the exercise.

The historic event will be launched on the 7th of September 2019.
