One of the most wanted suspects on FBI list arraigns in court

One of the most wanted suspects on the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) internet fraudsters wanted list was charged to court on Wednesday the 25th 2019, at an ilorin high court.

Joseph Oyediran 36 was charged on a five count charge on internet fraud, obtaining money under false pretence and other fraud related offences.

Presiding over the case, Justice Mahmood Abdugafar remanded the suspect in prison custody pending trial.

The case adjourned till the 9th of October 2019.

The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on the 30th of August at a press conference disclosed that one of the most wanted suspects by the FBI was arrested in Ilorin, Kwara State.

He said the FBI asked the anti graft agency for assistance and possible arrest of two suspects on their list.

The suspects had benefited about N60million from fraud through western union transfer.
