Today the 23rd of July 2019, Ogun State Government set up a committee to probe the former state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun Administration, last-minute project. 

In a statement issued by the secretary to the state government of Ogun State, Tokunbo Talabi states that ;

The committees will be expected to identify whether the projects have any Budgetary provision.

The statement further state that the committees will ascertain if the contracts awarded are in-line with the necessary regulations, and to 

“To determine the level of execution and quality of output of the projects.

To assess the disbursement pattern in line with the established process and procedure.

To recommend any viable pathways for the completion of the project, or in the alternative, determine other actions, including, but not limited to, reversal or cancellation of the contract that best aligns with the State Government’s intent.

The name of the panel to probe the contracts are;

The president of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Engr Adekunle Mokuolu, will chair the panel.
