Odunlade Adekola was born in Abeokuta, the capital city of Ogun State, in southwestern Nigeria on 31 December 1978.
He is a Nigerian actor, singer, film-maker, and entrepreneur; He has starred in, scripted, produced, and directed several Nigerian films.
Odunlade became a household name after featuring in the movie titled ‘Asiri Gomina Wa’ in 2003.
His active role in his films has helped in paving the way for him in the Nollywood industry. He is the founder of Odunlade Adekola Film Production (OAFP).
EDUCATION
Odunlade went to St John’s Primary School and secondary education at St. Peter’s College in Abeokuta, before proceeding to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, where he obtained a diploma certificate.

Odunlade joined the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts practitioners in 1996 and started acting the same year.

He won the Africa Movie Academy Award as the best actor of the year 2014. He made his entry into the Nigerian music industry in December 2015. He is known for his films like Sunday Dagboru, Alani Pamolekun, Mufu Oloosha oko, Adebayo Aremu Abere, Odaju, Oyenusi.
Personal Life
Odunlade married his girlfriend, Ruth, in 2013; the couple is parents to four sons.
