Nigerian journalist charged with terrorism for criticising Cross River state gov.
A journalist has been charged to court eight days after his arrest for criticising Cross River State governor Ben Ayade.
The publisher of Crossriverwatch, Agba Jalingo, was arrested for reporting about an alleged diversion of N500 million by the Governor of Cross River State.
He was arrested in his house in Lagos and transferred to Cross River where he was charged with four count charge with disturbance of public peace, treasonable Felony, Terrorism and Cultism.
According to the prosecutors, It was alleged that Mr. Jalingo was working with the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore to forcefully end the government of Gov. Ayade.
