Nigeria tops Tunisia to secure third-place finish at Afcon
Nigeria finished their African cup of Nations campaign on a high by beating Tunisia 1-0 in today’s third-place match.
It will be the eighth time Nigeria will be finishing in third place, at the African cup of Nations.

The match kicked off at 20:00 from the Al-Salam Stadium, Cairo.
The Super Eagles first and only goal came in at the 3rd minute with Odion Ighalo putting the ball in the net after an attempt from Alex Iwobi blocked.
Tunisia dominated in the second half, bombarding Nigeria’s goal post with chances.
