Murphy Afolabi was born on the 5th of May 1974 in Osun State, Nigeria.
Unfortunately, the media don’t know information about his childhood and parents. Murphy attended Ire Polytechnic, where he studied Mass Communication, Theatre Arts, and Film Production.

Career
He started acting at a very tender age; he featured in the movie “Ifa Olokun” under the tutorship of Dagunro, a fellow actor.
Murphy is known for excellently interpreting his role in the film.
He has starred in over 60 movies, and they include; Mafi Wonmi (2008), Bi a se b’eru (2007), Owo Wunmi (2010), Jimi Bendel (2016), The Ghost and The Tout (2018), Olokiki Oru (2019), Osun the Goddess (2021), Blackout (2021), and many others.
As an excellent actor, Murphy has received several award nominations for Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Producer at the City People Movie Awards.
Apart from being an actor, he is the CEO of “Fatuns Films Production.”

Murphy Afolabi is said to own several houses across the country. On a fateful day, while the actor was returning from a nightclub, he was attacked by a gang of thieves.
The thieves had killed two other people, but they collected Murphy’s phone, laptop, money, and everything he had in his car.
Nevertheless, he could survive, as there was no gunshot wound on him, despite being shot at.
