M.anifest said he is disappointed in Charterhouse and VGMA. The rapper said the organisers of the VGMA should take responsibilty for the incident that happened at the event.

The rapper was interviewed by Bernard Avle on Citi FM, he said:

“I don’t think the organizers have been accountable enough……..that could and should never happen if they had been more responsible. I am a bit disappointed in them not taking responsibility….think about everybody that was in there, think about what could potentially have happened, God Forbid. But we have to step this thing up in a level, I know it’s difficult to make things happen here but we have to do things really well, safely and other things

The rapper had waged support to Shatta Wale and his followers on Joys FM Morning Show saying

having genuine followers that will stand by you through the storm and the light is not like water under the bridge nor neither walk in the park.

He Further said:

“one thing you have to respect about Shatta is the movement he has. Its more than that of a politician and you can acknowledge that.”M.anifest further asked his fans to refrain from dissing fans of other musicians to move the industry forward.

The godmc said that the organisers should have taken responsibility for the unfortunate incident since their lack of sufficient security was the root cause of the brawl.

CharterHouse, the organisers of the VGMA released a statement banning the Shatta wale and Stonebwoy from future events.

Shatta wale and Stonebwoy were recently charged to court for offensive conduct, breach of peace and display of a firearm in public without permission.

The incident happened during the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards organised by CharterHouse. The duo were taken into custody and arraigned to court.

Presiding over the case, Justice Isaac Addo granted the two bail at the cost of GHc 50,000 with one surety each. The case is adjourned to June 20, 2019.
