Kristen Noel Swanson was born December 19, 1969, in Mission Viejo, California, the U.S, to Bob Swanie and Rosemary Swanson, who were both physical education teachers but now retired.
Her nationality is American, and she is, however, of Swedish and German ancestry.

Her older brother, Robert M. Swanson, Jr., was a heavy metal musician.
Kristy decided she would be an actress from the age of nine, her parents made this dream possible by helping her pursue commercial television roles, and she eventually landed her first job in a dollhouse commercial.
Between the age of nine to 13, Kristy had featured in more than 25 commercials. She had to forego regular schooling due to her career and was homeschooled by her parents.

despite Lloyd being married. She later gave birth to their son Magnus Hart Swanson Eisler on February 16, 2007, just one month after Eisler’s divorce to Marcia.

That same year, Marcia filed an assault charge against the actress. She was arrested and later released on bail.
