After completing her bachelor’s degree, Katie began working as a reporter at WDRB virtual channel 41, a Fox-affiliated television station licensed in Louisville, Kentucky.
Subsequently, she joined Fox Sports Wisconsin, covering the Milwaukee Bucks for the NBA 2018–2019 season. In 2019, she became a part of ACC Network, which was then new.
Her career in ACC began after serving as a sideline reporter for the Milwaukee Bucks and was contacted by Patrick Donaher, ESPN’s senior talent evaluator.
He pitched her on the ACC job, and after auditioning, she got the job. To date, she still holds the position of a sideline reporter and anchor at the ACC Network.
