Her full name is Alice Iyabo Ojo, and she was born on the 21st of December 1977.
She is an actress in the Nigerian movie industry. Iyabo Ojo is equally experienced in movie production and worked severally as a movie director.
Since she entered the movie industry to date, she has been featured in more than 150 movies. She, too, has a good movie production record. She has been able to produce up to 14 films of her own.
How it all started
As mentioned earlier, Iyabo Ojo was born on the 21st of December 1977 in Lagos State, Nigeria. Her father is a native of Abeokuta, and she was the youngest of three children.

The other two siblings are male. Iyabo Ojo had her secondary school education at National College, Gbagada. She then gained admission into the Lagos State Polytechnic to study Estate Management.

Her acting career started when she was in secondary school, where she was a drama group member. Her professional acting career began as far back as 1998.
She then decided to register with the Actors Guild of Nigerian, which was made possible via Bimbo Akintola.
Iyabo Ojo successfully made contacts with several other people, and that helped her to stardom.
Over the years, she had featured in both the Yoruba and English movies in Nollywood.

The first Nollywood movie was featured in 1998 was titled Satanic, and it was a movie acted in the English language. The first Yoruba movie she featured in was titled Baba Darijiwon, and that was in 2002.
She produced a film in January 2015 titled Silence and featured several top-rated actors, like Doris Simeon, Fathia Balogun, Alex Usifo, and many others.
The movie was premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Lagos. She produced her first movie in 2004, and the film was titled Boluwatife.

She was once married but divorced her husband before her shot into fame.
Iyabo Ojo got married in 1998, and her ex-husband was a movie marketer based in Lagos when she was just 21 years old.
She got pregnant and was forced to suspend her acting career. She gave birth to her first child, a boy, in 1999 and the second one, a girl, in 2001.
She later divorced their father. When queried about why she divorced her husband, she put it down to early marriage.
In May 2011, she launched the Pinkies Foundation. According to her, She set it up to cater to the less privileged and children with special needs.
She was also involved in some activism. She strongly opposed Yomi Fabiyi’s decision to support Olanrewaju Omikunle (Baba Ijesa), who was arrested and charged to court for molesting an underage girl.
