He is a popular Nollywood actor, film producer, singer who has appeared in over a hundred movies, making him one of Nigeria’s most successful actors.
Ibrahim was born on October 13, 1970, in Kwara State, into a large family. He has thirteen other siblings, and his mother is one of his father’s wives.

He went to Saint Bridges Catholic Primary School in Bachita, Kwara state before proceeding to Government Secondary School and later to Dende Secondary School in Aggiea, but had to drop out in the third grade to focus on his career in acting.

However, Ibrahim Chatta made his debut in 1985 but did not become a household name until his appearance in Aiyekooto.
He has appeared in other high grossing movies like Irawo Oke, Awure Eni, Akisa, and many others. In recognition of his role in Aiyekooto, Ibrahim won Best Actor in a supporting role in 2012.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim is also a musician; he sings in the Yoruba Language and has released singles like Boom Boom Boom, Friday Night, amongst others.
He was first married to Olayinka Solomon, but the marriage ended a few years after.
Not long after his divorce from his first wife, Ibrahim met Salamatu Mohammed Lafiaji, the daughter of the former Kwara State governor, Shaaba Lafiaji.
The couple reportedly met in 2007, during the production of Kunle Afod’s movie titled Tiwonsikanga, and held their traditional wedding on December 30, 2012.

However, the marriage ended after allegations of a series of domestic abuse from both sides.
Meanwhile, in 2016, Ibrahim got married to his third wife, Lizzie Berry, in a private ceremony.
