Five children of the same family die in Lagos fire outbreak
Lagos Police command spokesperson, Bala Elkana in a statement said an investigation is ongoing into the fire outbreak that killed five children of the same family.
The incident happened in Abagbo Village, Takwa Bay.
The incident happened around 10:30am on the 7th of August 2019.
The mother of the five children, Mrs Florence Asoye, said she left her house around 6:30 p.m to Takwa-Bay Jetty.
he said she heard the horrific news when she came back to the house.
According to Asoye
she had left her children under the care of one Suliat, who locked the children in the room and left for an unknown destination.
