Mr. Idorenyin Essien was arrested after his son died from burn injuries.
According to the police, the suspect will be charged to court for the death of his son.

The victim identified as Abasiofon Idorenyin was alleged to have stolen N500 from his landlord.
His father heard about the accusation and tied his son to his house before pouring petrol all over his body, setting him ablaze.

The little boy eventually died while recuperating at the hospital.
