Fatal Bus accident: Bus ‘somersaulted ‘ several times killing a pregnant woman in Ibadan.
The bus accident claimed the life of a pregnant woman, and injured eight others yesterday at omi-Ado, Ibadan.
According to witnesses at the scene, the pregnant woman was sitting at the passengers side before the Toyota liteAce commercial bus she was travelling in somersaulted into a ditch then went on fire.

It was gathered that the commercial bus was travelling along Ibadan-Abeokuta express way From Apata Ibadan.
The commercial bus trapped all the passengers before they were rescued.
The cause of the accident is said to be dangerous driving.

The Pregnant woman was burnt to death before rescue team could save her.
Eight others were rushed to Alaafia hospital Apata after suffering different degrees of burns..
The body of the victim have been deposited at the Adeoyo State Hospital morgue, Ring Road Ibadan.
Talking to the media, one of the officers from Omi Ado Police Station also attributed the cause of the accident to over speeding and lack of maintenance.
