Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, is a Nigerian record producer and entrepreneur. Don spent most of his childhood in Ajegunle, Lagos state, after relocating with his family from Abia State.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND
He went to Federal Government College Lagos, before gaining admission at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo state, to study business management.
After graduating, Don relocated to London, where he associated himself with Afro beats stars like Solek, JJC, Kas, The 419 Squad, and D’Banj.
Career
In 2004, Don jazzy and D’banj started the now-defunct record label Mo’ Hits Records in 2004. Following the record label’s closure, Don Jazzy set up Mavin Records.
In 2008, after producing over three albums of d’banj, Don contributed to Wande Coal’s Mushin 2 MoHits album, which was described as one of the best albums to ever come out of Nigeria.
Don also performed background vocals for artists he produced. These include vocals for D’Banj, Sauce Kid, Dr. SID, Ikechukwu, Kween, D’Prince, and American hip hop star, Jay-Z.
Don also provided vocal performance for Kanye West’s song Lift Off and Beyoncé on the Watch The Throne album.
In 2011, Don Jazzy was signed by Kanye West as a producer at Good music.

Don and D’Banj announced their breakup In March 2012, citing artistic differences after eight years of partnership.
By 7 May 2012, Don has already set up a new record label, Mavin Records.
Awards
Don has received awards across the globe. In 2006, he went home with Nigerian Music Awards producer of the year.
He won the headies producer of the year also in 2011 and 2014.
