One infamous moment for every celebrity is being arrested. A celebrity arrest is always a public affair, the talk of the town and something no one wishes for, even a non-celebrity.
Being in the limelight for any wrong reason is a big turn-off for celebrities. No matter how big or small the issue might be, if it involves a celebrity, there are chances of it escalating and becoming the following headline news.
For this reason, stars aren’t immune to the justice system, so today, we will be looking at some celebrities who have had a not-so-good encounter with the law.

- Winona Ryder
Winona Ryder’s “Stranger Things” actress had a run-in with the law in 2001 for shoplifting. The actress was convicted for grand theft, vandalism, and shoplifting which she was sentenced to three years probation and community service.

- Chris Brown
In 2009, Pop singer Chris Brown was arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. As if this was not enough, he faced trouble again, following his rearrest on the grounds of aggravated rape and drug violation in Paris.
Chris Brown has faced an array of legal issues over the years.
- Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan is quite infamous for her encounter with the law. The Hollywood actress has a long history of being arrested for various reasons.
Lindsay has been arrested for DUI, possession of cocaine, misdemeanor hit and runs, driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident, and more. Due to her infamous activities with the law, Lindsay has been in and out of rehabilitation centers.
- R. Kelly
R. Kelly’s arrest came as a shock to many. The singer was arrested in July 2019 on the grounds of sex crimes, including child pornography, having sex with minors, and lots more.
Due to his position as a famous singer, this news soon made a headline after it was announced that he was facing federal charges.
- Justin Bieber
From his teenage, pop singer Justin Bieber could be described as a troubled child, always in the news for the wrong reasons. Finally, in 2014, he was arrested for drunk driving, resisting arrest, and driving without a valid license.
Justin Bieber was ordered to pay a fine and attend an anger management course; thankfully, the star is far over this phase.

Rapper A$AP Rocky was arrested in Stockholm for assault in 2018. After an extended stay at the Swedish detention center, he returned to the USA, where he was found guilty of the charges and ordered to pay damages to the victim.
- Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton is another TV star always in the news for the wrong reasons. The TV star was first arrested in 2006 for DUI. Then, after her driver’s license suspension, Paris Hilton was caught driving with a suspended license in 2007.
For this, she was sentenced to 45 days in jail; however, a few years later, in 2010, she was rearrested on the grounds of cocaine possession.
- Bruno Mars
“Catch A Granade” singer Bruno Mars was arrested in 2010 for suspicion of cocaine possession. After his arrest, the singer’s mugshot soon went viral; however, all charges were later dropped.
- Wiz Khalifa
Rapper Wiz Khalifa was arrested in 2010 for the possession of marijuana. The rapper, who is never shy about his marijuana use, was arrested with more than 60 grams of weed.
In 2014, he was rearrested for the exact marijuana-related charges. However, Wiz Khalifa’s most recent arrest happened in 2015 for riding a hoverboard.
- Blac Chyna
Reality TV star Blac Chyna was arrested in 2016 for public intoxication and drug possession, which was ecstasy. The charges were, however, dropped in 2017.
- Kodak Black
Rapper Kodak Black in 2015, was arrested for kidnapping, battery, and numerous other charges.

Less than a month later, Kodak Black was rearrested for possessing a weapon before performing at the Rolling Loud festival.
