Unlike us, they do not have the freedom to keep their problems hidden from the public eye, not because they want this information to be known, but because it is challenging to keep their private lives hidden from the public’s prying eyes.
The following stars dealt with deadly health challenges; some manage to keep it hidden till the end, others weren’t so successful.

For five years, the “How I Met Your Mother” actress Cobie Smulders kept her battle with ovarian cancer a secret.
She was diagnosed with it at the age of 25, and she waited five years before making the news public in 2015.
- Emilia Clarke
Emilia Clarke played “Arya Stark” in the series “Game of Thrones.” The American actress suffered two brain aneurysms while filming the film.
She later revealed that she was diagnosed with the disease during the first two seasons of the series after experiencing pains pulling in her brain.
Clarke had a successful surgery, but it nearly took her life; she awoke, unable to recall her name, which panicked her.
According to the actress, returning from that state was very difficult, but she is now well and uses her story to inspire others.

According to Charlie Sheen, he paid $10 million to keep his HIV diagnosis hidden from the media, but the information still got leaked.
In a 2015 interview, the actor announced that he had been HIV-positive for four years.

The “Black Panther” actor was powerful, filming during and between numerous operations and chemotherapy treatments until his death on August 28, 2020.
