Due to the nature of their jobs, celebrities travel around the world. Sometimes stars find out that everyone does not love them through these trips as they are often denied visas into a country.
If “Queen Bey” herself and innocent-looking ‘Selena Gomez” can be banned from gaining entry into certain countries, then indeed, no celebrity is loved by all.

- Katy Perry: China
Her ban came from wearing the Taiwanese flag during her concert at Taipa Arena.
She also wore a sunflower dress during her Prism tour.

According to the authority, the sunflower was the symbol of a student movement against the Chinese trade agreement in 2014 (The Sunflower Student Movement).
The ban prevented her from performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai.

The young actress and singer were reportedly banned from China in 2006 after a picture she took with the Dalai Lama surfaced.
Her visa to Russia was also denied due to her stance on gay rights. This refusal cost her a performance at St. Petersburg’s Ice Palace.
- Kesha: Malaysia
According to the Malaysian authority, Kesha holding a concert in the country will culturally and religiously hurt the country, so she was banned from entering, and the authorities denied her visa request.
- Miley Cyrus: China and the Dominican Republic
She was banned for a picture that showed her slanting her eyes. The government of China found this picture offensive and banned the singer from entering the country.
Miley Cyrus was also denied entry into the Dominican Republic, reasons being “her acts that go against morals and customs.”
- Justin Bieber: China and Argentina
Some years ago, American singer Justin Bieber had lots of controversies concerning his behavior in public.
It was one reason the Chinese authority thought it would be wise not to grant him a visa into the country in 2017.
In a statement released, the singer was labeled “a badly behaved entertainer.”
The singer also allegedly assaulted a photographer and disrespected the country’s flag while in Argentina, so the government made sure he wasn’t granted access in the future.

The reason for Queen Bey’s ban from Malaysia was too much sexiness.
According to the authority, Beyonce’s shows were provocative in nature so that she couldn’t hold a concert within the country.
She had to cancel her already fixed Malaysian concert due to her dance routine.

The band unintentionally turned down a breakfast invitation from the former First Lady while in the Philippines.

- Chris Brown: the United Kingdom and Australia
Chris Brown’s physical abuse of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna led to his ban from entry to the United Kingdom and Australia in 2015.
His ban was on the ground that the singer had been found guilty of a severe criminal offense.
