She was from Cleveland, Ohio currently resided in Los Angeles, California, until her demise.
Brittany was a participant in VH1’s newest reality show ‘To Catch a Beautician, a show that focuses on training beauticians from making disastrous hairstyles mistake.

Brittany appeared on the show as part of the cast and showed off her skill as a hairstylist.
In March 21, 2020, Brittany was out in Mexico while she was ziplining; she fell from the zipline into the water below.

When she was retrieved from the water by local services, she was pronounced dead.
Brittany was just 22 years old when she died in the accident. The cause of her death was ruled as an accident.
Brittany’s death was an unfortunate event, and she was described by many as a free spirit with a beautiful and loyal heart.
She was a vivacious person. She lived life freely and was very helpful to those around her. She was also a dancer, very fashionable and full of smiles.

After the incident, her parents created a GoFundMe account to cover the cost of retrieving her remains from Mexico.
Her parents’ fundraising goal was $13,500, which they needed to prepare, preserve and return her body to her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, from Mexico.
They were able to raise over $20,000 within 24 hours.
‘To Catch a Beautician’ shared a touching tribute after her demise, showing some of her favorite moments with Spivey on the show.
Friends, associates, and family also shared touching tribute about the young entrepreneur, describing how wonderful she was and how her loss would be felt by many.
