The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) was granted bail to travel abroad for medical treatment.
He was ordered to be accompanied to India by Kaduna State government officials.

How did it get here?
SHEIKH ZAKZAKY is the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), known as Shi’ite.
The Nigerian Army arrested him in his house on the 13th of December 2015.
During the arrest, Zakzaky’s son, Sayyid Aliyu, and many members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) were killed, according to reports.
The Nigerian Army said he was arrested in response to an assassination attempt by his followers on the Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Tukur Buratai.
During the Pro-Palestinian rally in July 2015, 34 protesters were reportedly killed by the Nigerian soldiers, three undergraduate sons of Zakzaky were among those killed.
The Nigerian Army said members of Shi’ite blocked the motorcade transporting Lt General Tukur Buratai before troops responded with force.
