Ben Jones, popularly known as Ben Hardy, was born on 2 January 1991. He is an English actor best known for his role as Peter Beale in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.
His film debut came through X-Men: Apocalypse, where he played the role of an Archangel; he also starred in the biographical film Bohemian Rhapsody as Roger Taylor.

Ben Hardy Early Life
Born in Bournemouth, Dorset, and grew up in Sherborne, Hardy attended Sherborne Abbey Primary School and the Gryphon School.
He loved playing sports and always dreamt of being a rugby player during his early years.

Unfortunately, he got injured on the field at the age of 15 and had to quit the sport.
A friend suggested he joined the local drama club, and Hardy instantly fell in love with acting.
At 18 years old, He enrolled in the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where he starred as Arthur Wellesley in the David Hare play The Judas Kiss, also featuring Rupert Everett.
Acting Career
In April 2013, Hardy was to take over Peter Beale’s role from Thomas Law, who had played that character from 2006 to 2010.
According to the actor, EastEnders was a show watched by him and his family for years, and he was happy to be part of the cast.
He made his first appearance on the show on 7 June 2013 and left the series on 24 February 2015.
In 2016, Hardy debuted Bryan Singer’s superhero film X-Men: Apocalypse, where he starred as the winged mutant Archangel.
He was also cast as John Williams Polidori in the romance film Mary Shelly.

Hardy also portrayed Wade Parker, a Granite Mountain Hotshots firefighter who lost his life in the 2013 Yarnell Hill Fire in Only the Brave, released on 22 September 2017.
Hardy played the lead role in the 2018 BBC adaptation of the Wilkie Collins novel The Woman in White, where he portrayed Walter Hartright.
That same year, he also played Queen drummer Roger Taylor in the 2018 biographical film Bohemian Rhapsody.
Hardy was also nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at the 25th Screen Actors Guild Awards due to Bohemian Rhapsody’s performance.
It was announced in 2018 that Hardy was a cast in the Netflix action thriller film 6 Underground, which was released on 13 December 2019.
In 2020, Hardy played Frank in the movie Pixie alongside Olivia Cooke, his current girlfriend.

Hardy is currently in a relationship with actress Olivia Cooke. They met on the set of the comedy thriller Pixie in Ireland.
Before that, he was in a relationship of ten years with Katriona Perrett before they broke up in 2018.
