Avielle Janelle became famous due to her dad’s popularity as an NFL player and his suicide in 2017 after being sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of semi-pro footballer Odin Lloyd in 2013.
She attended some of the court sessions before her father was trialed and was just five years old when he died. Aaron Hernandez played for The New England Patriots when he was arrested and charged with the murder in 2013.
Ninety minutes after the arrest, the club released him and refused to pay the remaining $3.25 million deferred signing bonus and base salaries of $1.323 million and $1.137 million.
They also didn’t pay an $82,000 workout bonus he had earned in June 2013 to his family.
