Dapo Abiodun supplied weapons, ammunition- sen. Amosun
Ogun State former governor. Sen. Ibikunle Amosun is fighting back at criticism after it was reported he allegedly surrender thousands of arms and millions of ammunition with 1000 units of bulletproof vests and armored personnel carrier (APC) stored in a secret armory in the Government house.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Mr. Rotimi Durojaiye,
He revealed that the office approved the Ammunition and arms procurement of the National Security Adviser under former President Goodluck Jonathan’s regime.
He further disclosed that the armories are to combat security challenges being faced in the state, and were handed over to the then IGP, Mohammed Abubakar in public.

Rotimi didn’t stop there, and he said gov. Dapo Abiodun, the present governor of Ogun State, was one of the major suppliers of some of the security assets handed over to the police at the end of his tenure.

I read of armored personnel carriers vehicles, not arms or ammunition. Did he default in supplying according to the terms of the contract? he said
He further said, what’s the motivation for bringing the governor’s name into the arms scandal? I considered it distracting or part of the grand plot to smear Dapo Abiodun
