Early Life
Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, famously known by his stage name Kizz Daniel, was born May 1, 1994, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Kola Anidugbe.
He is the second child of 5 children. His elder sister Toluwalope Sapphire Anidugbe is a famous O.A.P. in Lagos state.
Kizz Daniel attended Abeokuta Grammar School and subsequently got accepted into Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, where he graduated with a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology in 2013.

Career
While in the university, Kizz Daniel developed an interest in music and pursued it alongside his studies.
However, after graduating, he decided to go full time into it and came across “Emperor Gezzy,” the C.E.O. of G-Worldwide Entertainment.
His music career began officially in 2013 after he was signed into “G-Worldwide Entertainment,” He released his debut single “Shoye” in 2014.
However, the song was not a commercial success; in September of the same year, Kizz Daniel released his second single, “Woju.”
Unlike his first single, Woju became a commercial success, spending 11 weeks on the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 and later debuted at Number 1, spending another six weeks on the chart.
The success of “Woju” led to a remix of the song featuring “Tiwa Savage” and “Davido.”
Like the original song, the remixed version also became a hit and soon peaked at Number 1 on MTV Base Official Naija top 10.
On May 1, 2015, which happens to be his birthday, Kizz Daniel released his third studio single, “Laye,” which music video was directed by AJE FILM and shot in different parts of eastern Africa.
The following year on May 14, he released his debut album titled “New Era,” containing four tracks.
Split From G-Worldwide Entertainment and Change Of Name
In November 2017, Kizz Daniel decided to leave G-Worldwide Entertainment, which led to court battles between the record label and him.
However, although he won the suit, he changed his stage name from “Kiss Daniel” to Kizz Daniel in May 2018.
After his split from the label, in November 2017, he launched his record label “FLYBOY I.N.C.,” which currently has two new acts, “Demmie Vee” and “Philkeyz,” signed under it.
Under his label, Kizz Daniel released his second studio album titled “No Bad Songz.”
The album contained 20 Songs with features from the likes of Davido, Nasty C, Diamond Platinum, Philkeyz, Demmie Vee, Dj Xclusive, Wretch 32, Diplo, and Sarkodie.
“No Bad Songz” contains hit songs, including the famous “One Ticket,” which featured Davido.
The album peaked at Number 55 on U.S. iTunes Chart. Subsequently, in 2020, Kizz Daniel released his third studio album, “King of Love.”
It was later followed by releasing his fourth studio album “Barnabas” in 2021, featuring hit songs like “Lie,” among others.

Awards and Recognitions
Kizz Daniel was awarded the Nigeria Entertainment Award for Best New Act to Watch. It was later followed by the Nigeria Entertainment Award for Afropop Artist of the Year.
The Hottest Single of the Year and the City People Music Award Music Artist (Male) are among his awards.
The “Woju” crooner has also won The Headies Best R&B/Pop Album and Hip Hop World Revelation of the Year.

Personal Life
In 2015, Kizz Daniel lost his father, Mr. Kola Anidugbe, to an ailment beginning his blossoming musical career.
According to the singer, his father supported his music career choice. But, unfortunately, he didn’t live long to see his son succeed at it.
On May 1, 2021, the “Lie” crooner welcomed a set of triplets with his mysterious girlfriend. The boys are named Jamal, Jalil, and Jelani.
However, four days after their birth, Kizz Daniel revealed that one of the triplets didn’t make it.
